Meet Kris Hunter

I’m just an Oklahoma gal “Makin’ Happy Outta Crappy” in hopes to inspire a joyful life!! I live in Edmond Oklahoma with my husband, who is retired from the Air Force, and occasionally our 2 college kids. We could be considered “part time empty nesters”. I have been an entrepreneur my whole life! I did every thing I could “on the side” to make sure I was home with my kids, because dad was faithfully serving our country. I owned a catering/event planning business for years with the help of my family. I found my Joy in taking care of my family and others. I started building a business in the online space through facebook early in 2020…I wanted to bring joy to others in what was seeming like a dark time. I found that not only did it help others it helped me grow also. I have always known that crafting was my therapy.

Hey there Funky Junkin’ Sparkle Lovers! I’m Kathy, aka “The Sparkle Chick”…owner and creative designer of Royale Funky Junque! I am a Goodwill shopping, thrift store loving, DIY’er, decorating fanatic with a love of all things that Sparkle! I am passionate about helping my fellow Sparkle Chicks (old and new) find joy and confidence through decorating and DIY!
